The Hoist is located in Vauxhall, London (Zone 1) and is easily accessible by public transport. To find out how to get to us visit the Location section. The Hoist has changing facilities and a coat-check.
Dress Code
The dress code, which is strictly enforced, consists of leather, uniform, rubber, industrial, skinhead, full sports kit and finally boots and jocks. The dress code applies to all nights, except where specifically stated, the doorman's decision is final. You can find more information in the Dress Code section of this website.
Footwear
In addition to the dress code above, you must also wear boots. Trainers, sports shoes or shoes of any other kind will NOT be acceptable unless specifically stated or you are attending 'SBN' or 'NBN'. There are a limited number of boots avilable at the coat-check.
Membership
The Hoist membership costs £35 and is available from the club itself. We accept cash and cheques at the club (we do not accept debit or credit cards).
Hoist Boot Shine
The Hoist has a boot-shine boy on duty on Saturdays.
